ESTONIAN POWER AND HEAT ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE
On 28 April 2016, the Estonian Power and Heat Association (Eesti Jõujaamade ja Kaugkütte Ühing) held its annual conference. The association is one of the oldest and largest organisations in Estonia that represents companies in the energy and heat sector and works to protect their joint interests. The main topic of this year’s conference was ‘District Heating in the Estonian and European Energy Sector’. LINKLaw attorney-at-law Reesa Paatsi gave a presentation on the topic of ‘District Heating – consumer debts and other topical matters’ at the conference. In her presentation Reesa gave an overview of the regulation that governs the approval of heat prices, the use of different legal remedies against debtors and changes in the legal acts. LINKLaw managing partner Toomas Tamme also took part from the discussion that followed and answered questions from the conference participants. LINKLaw is grateful for the invitation to participate at the Estonian Power and Heat Association annual conference and for the eventful conference day. We wish everyone warmth in their heart and in their home – until next conference!
